Huawei plans to sell its first self-brand Smartphone, Blaze, in the United Kingdom as early as September this year, Bloomberg reported on August 12, 2011. With the launch of Blaze in the country, Huawei aims to take up market share of approximately 4% to 5% within 12 months. It is reported that Huawei's Blaze device will target at value-line Smartphone segment, and the company will team up with major operators, such as Vodafone. In addition to Smartphones, Huawei also plans to introduce tablet PCs in the United Kingdom, including the MediaPad and Vision models.
